Middle America is a hell-hole deserted landscape, a neo-wild-west where survival is the only law, and the world itself seems to mock every hope of redemption. The facade of civilization is gone, replaced by a harsh and unforgiving reality. The wealthy elite, safe and cozy in their corporate fortresses, live in gold and glory, disconnected from, yet fully aware of, the grim existence that defines the rest of the country. The wasteland is a place of undying struggle, where every day is a battle against the elements, against everyone else, and against the crushing weight of despair.
